About

It's pretty simple.. dogs are really good at finding bears. Here in California it's illegal to use dogs to hunt bears, so we have to be The Dogs. California is home to one of the largest populations of black bears in the lower 48. We have a high number of color phase bears, so many in fact that when we cross paths with a jet black bear it can feel special. Chasing bears through the unforgiving Northern California mountains will leave an impact on any hunter. We offer public land hunts and private land. From spot and stalk to sitting in a tree stand, archery or rifle, whatever style of hunting you prefer. This can be a great hunt for a new hunter as we will get you up to speed on our strategies and teach you everything we have to offer. As for you seasoned hunters, our crew is ready to partner with you on an epic bear hunting adventure. We are in the woods scouting for bears every month of the year whether we want to be or not, the obsession doesn't sleep.

Who is David?

Visit my Instagram here:

David Endicott is a Southern California native who grew up in the surf and the mountains. He found his way to Northern California where he lives with his wife and three young daughters. As many outdoorsmen know, being surrounded by nature or trekking deep in the wilderness is a certain way to find out who you are. Once you have a taste of the wilderness it will put your life into perspective. Taking a step away from your normal and modern life, even for a few days, can set your life on a new trajectory. Some of David's fondest memories have been backpacking and hunting with good friends and even strangers. He's passionate about sharing these adventures and creating lasting and meaningful memories with great people. “Don't get me wrong, we harvest animals and we work hard in the process because that's what we are out there to do… but sometimes what I look forward to the most is just sharing a fire and warm meal with someone and getting to know them. I've personally learned a lot about myself with the help of the mountains and I enjoy going through that experience with other people. When we harvest animals, which is most of the time, that is the cherry on top.”
